The Three Stooges: A Plumbing We Will Go

This is one of the best Stooges video releases, with three classic shorts. A-PLUMBING WE WILL GO has the Stooges wrecking a society party (this is the one where the startled cook cries, "This house has sure gone crazy!"). VIOLENT IS THE WORD FOR CURLY is not as violent as the title; it's a collegiate comedy in which the Stooges sing a charming musical number called "Swingin' the Alphabet." And PUNCH DRUNKS is the famous, early comedy in which pugilist Curly goes crazy every time he hears "Pop Goes the Weasel." Three Stooges - All Time Favorites

This tape has some great Stooge films, some that have been lost for decades. This includes the Stooges' last film ever, KOOK'S TOUR (1970). It had some never-before-seen home movie footage and publicity shots of hard-to-find Stooge shorts. JERKS OF ALL TRADES (1949) is a gem, with some great scenes of the Stooges as painters. Three Stooges: Curly Classics Vols 1-2

If your collection is missing any Stooges, this two-volume set is a great place to start. Volume 2 is especially notable for its inclusion of "MicroPhonies" perhaps the knuckleheads' greatest short, as well as their really strange debut film "Woman Haters" in which the entire dialogue is in rhyme.   More ...
